Roll the die to name your half-orc (Just click it)

I made this half-orc name generator as a resource to help DnD players get inspiration for a new half-orc character and to help quickly come up with half-orc names for DMs. In DnD 5e, half-orc names are usually “appropriate to the culture in which they were raised” (Player’s Handbook, pg. 41).

With that in mind, I used the half-orc first names provided in the Player’s Handbook, as well as some additional names from my imagination. For surnames, I used human, elf, and dwarf names, with my logic being that these are the most common races in most DnD settings, and so the most likely cultures for a half-orc to be raised in.

To be fair, the sourcebook does indicate that alliances between “orc and human tribes” are usually how half-orcs come into existence, so human surnames are likely more common for half-orcs. Still, parentage doesn’t always equal culture, so I think the non-human surnames for half-orcs are still plausible (plus dwarven surnames sound pretty cool with half-orc given names!)
